In a time of prostitution
That the land is a birth
That death is a birth
That we are human just like you are
Dreaming to live our life just like others
We did not ask for luxury
We did not steal the land of others
We did not demolish their houses
Nor did we seek our happiness
On the debris of killed people
WE ARE HUMAN
In love we have a right like all people
Do not feel sorry for us
We are stronger than the bullets of our enemy
There is history in the land
Telling that we shall remain
And the visitors
Will be forgotten by our nights
Denied by our streets
Because our stars
Our roads
Know the hand of the farmer that plants the seeds of olive
From the hand of the murderer that doesn’t know
It kills youngsters or elderly
It reaps men or women
The healthy or the sick.
Yes, we are human
We love people and life
But we love our land
More than the hatred of our enemy to us
For ages we have learned
That love is victorious
That truth is victorious
Do not feel sorry for us.
