Poetry is the journal of the sea animal living on land, wanting to fly in the air. Poetry is a search for syllables to shoot at the barriers of the unknown and the unknowable. Poetry is a phantom script telling how rainbows are made and why they go away. Judy Keung - Hong Kong

 

Steaming bowl of pork-chop threads,

bound in a bundle, tied in a ring

pungent at my tingling throat

She mesmerizes my slumbering soul.

 

My rough edges camouflaged

my skin stroked clean, creamy green,

the stains in my blood purged clean,

She strips my defenses.

 

Minty wisps of lemongrass

awakens me to staggering heights.
