Poetry is the journal of the sea animal living on land, wanting to fly in the air. Poetry is a search for syllables to shoot at the barriers of the unknown and the unknowable. Poetry is a phantom script telling how rainbows are made and why they go away. I have journeyed far

My eyes seek in vain, the hills

Where peach blossoms bloom

 

Slowly mist rises.

Clouds form on the highest peaks

Becoming dragons!

 

Outside my window

On the tree so high yet dying

A nightingale sings.

فتصبح تنينَ!

خارج نافذتي شجرة ْ

- برغم الشموخ تموتُ -
